SURFLESSONS4YOU charges a 12% commission on each successful booking. There are no setup fees, monthly charges, or hidden costs. The commission covers payment processing, marketing, and platform maintenance.
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. After a booking is completed, your earnings (88% of the lesson price) are transferred directly to your connected bank account. Payouts are processed automatically.
You can download detailed transaction reports from your dashboard. Each booking generates a receipt. For tax purposes, you are responsible for reporting your earnings according to local regulations.
You set your own cancellation policy. If a student cancels within your policy window, the refund is processed automatically. Weather-related cancellations should always be refunded to maintain your reputation and rating.
